I'm driving to Tuscaloosa, AL tomorrow-Friday and driving back on Monday-Tuesday. I figured I'd have a better chance of my drive not being affected by weather than if I flew. (Since Chicago is such a big hub, delays anywhere in the country can affect us here.)

He was also scheduled to fly out tomorrow morning, and THAT doesn't look like it's happening. Sigh.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
So I agreed to meet with my boss on my day off Friday, and scheduled it for 9:30, which seemed fine -- get it over with. She just asked to make it 8:30! So much for sleeping in. Ah well. It will still be over with.
