The same accountant couldn't figure out how to give me my x-mas bonus, because the bonus was less than my monthly withholding amount. Yeah, he was thinking of applying an entire month's withholding against one week of bonus pay.
I assume once the money is withheld I can't get it back until my refund next year, right?

I'm always skittish about taxes because until last year we always owed. Last year we got a decent refund but I still don't quite believe it...

I significantly upped my withholding this year, but not anywhere close to that amount, tommyrot. And then we didn't end up having as much side work, yay more donors, so we're ending up getting money back.
Man, my day got so fucked up.
But since that's the case, I'm going to have to make a new, bonus plan for my resulting day. I have already started it by eating a calzone. The SO is not going to have any left when he gets back and that is just going to have to be sad for him because they are so so delicious. And easy as grab it and throw it in the oven food for me.
So. New goals for the day: continue working on car. dishes. laundry. personal taxes. company taxes. studio work. shredding.
