Yeah, that's brutal. The last time (before the last last time) my grandmother was in the hospital, she was on the ground diet, and at least what I saw didn't look so bad. But I don't know if it would work for wired shut. I bet the drinkable diet is more extreme.

Oh, man. Between my mother's recovery, my mother-in-law's impending surgery, and the fact that the fucking fan motor for the heater has died in our Washington house, today has been a busy day. I got home from the hospital at 5 and I feel like I've been on the phone ever since.
My mother-in-law got very good results from her MRI -- no cancer detected anywhere else. She's having her mastectomy in two weeks, so I guess we get to do this roller coaster again.
Wow Dana. That is a lot to juggle at once. How is your moms recovery going? Good news for your mother in law. I hope the house repair is easy.
She's better today. But she's not a stoic patient, so there's lots of complaining about the itching and the nausea. And of course she's entitled to complain, but it's hard not being able to do anything about it.
In an email to our realtor and the repair guy, I managed to get two out of four phone numbers wrong. Those two numbers were my cell phone and my husband's work phone. Husband called me and was like "I think you need more sleep."
Finding time to take care of yourself through this may be tough but important. I hope Mr. Sandman brings you good sleep and good dreams (freaking autocorrect had that as drama, which you do not need) tonight.
Definitely take care of yourself, Dana.
And everyone else!
Yay, my wedding certificate got here, I can renew my driver's license!
Yay drivers license!

Officially started taxes. Maybe can get 'em done by the same date I did last year. Maybe.
