IDK, Steph. That sounds like a long time to wait to me, two weeks.
I feel like maybe my doctor told me the 2-week "rule" once. (Not that he wouldn't see me before 2 weeks; just that 2 weeks is a decent average length of time to see if sinus nastiness backs off.) Although once when I waited 3 weeks, I got scolded because apparently I was sick as hell and ignoring it.
Bah. I'm in a world of don't wanna.
It already has plenty of garlic and onions. It was in the crock pot for half a day, so I might try Worchestershire sauce. If I remember when I get back to Chicago.
I've got a cold settling in. I'm worried about what it might do to Hubby.
I spent the Super Bowl with a very unpopulated Knitting Group at Barnes and Noble. But it was a blast: just Irene and myself - knitting and chatting about knitting, spinning, books and movies. Kind of perfect.
The phrase I generally hear from doctors is that a common cold will resolve without medication in 1-2 weeks, or with medication in 7-14 days.
More than two weeks probably means you need drugs, IME.
Connie, Wear a mask and gloves?
Is there a door you can close, msbelle? I almost passed out from the heat the day mine went off and then I was working in the bathroom.

Full disclosure: I don't totally remember when this sinus ick started. It's been at least a week, but maybe 2.
I'm really just trying to get out of going to the doctor while wanting to magically get better. I am THE WORST. I am the Desert Bluffs of patients.
