I'm in horrible physical shape these days, but my BP, cholesterol, etc. are all top notch.
I told my new doctor this the first time I saw him but I don't think he believed me. Then he called when the blood work was in and he was all "so, your bloodwork numbers are...surprised pause...fantastic."
Though I am supposed to be taking iron supplements which I always forget.
My four closest blood relatives (counting my deceased mother) are all on cholesterol meds. Me, I'm at worst high-normal and I have no real explanation for why. Involuntarily having to avoid all beef- and milk- products might be helping. Certainly not the rest of my lifestyle....
Also, I can make a killer turkey lentil chili, but between the fact that's it's ground dark-meat turkey (cheaper!) and I brown the onions, garlic and turkey in olive oil, it's probably not low-fat enough.
I think I have a problem. I cannot stop looking at the list of 19 mixed breeds that is going around the internet. [link] I need several of them, but I can't stop thinking about squishing the Chusky!
No heat in my office. Was 46 when I got in. Compressor fan or somesuch is out. We are on emergency heat now, but it is gonna take a while to heat us up. grrr.

I'm all in on the Horgi.
I don't even want to think about how the Golden and Doxie got together, but that was a very pretty little dog.

I think it's safe to assume the dachsund was the father.
I love all the Corgi mutts. I think maybe I just want a Corgi.
I think the lesson is Husky + anything = cute and Corgi + anything = cute, so Husky + Corgi= cuter?
Someone spilled something on the mouse in the ops room and didn't replace/fix it Friday afternoon.
I think I'm going to revoke their privs, if I find out who. I'm sick of people using that room and leaving it to me to put back to rights.
I cook lentils with tomatoes and olive oil (+spices & veg), and they don't turn out bland and mushy for me.
Surgery-ma, Dana!
