That's all JZ and I had for dinner last night. One head of cauliflower.

BTDT. Except just me. And more than once. And I have a HUGE head of cauliflower in the fridge right now!

I gotta try the roasted broccoli, though.

Also, I don't fry bacon anymore; I bake it, and when I do, I put raw mushrooms around the bacon on the cookie sheet, and sprinkle with pepper. NOM NOM NOM bacon and mushrooms for brekkie, with bacon crumbles to put (later) on salad/soup/pasta!

I'm trying a new recipe later: bowtie pasta with avocado, basil and bacon.

...huh. I'm hungry now!

Huh... maybe it is time for lunch!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

After all this discussion of vegetables I had a spinach omelet for breakfast. Not roasted, but still delicious. Also, less upset about the spreadsheets now that I have some food in me.

I have been known to eat a whole head of cauliflower for dinner. I usually steam it in the microwave, because that doesn't require cutting it up and I like the flavor. Roasted cauliflower is delish but that extra step of cutting the head into pieces is sometimes too much for me.

You cauliflower lovers are weird. Brussel sprouts are the king of roasted veggies, with asparagus not too far behind.

Because books.

Arthur is incredibly annoying, and not a lot of fun to watch.

Brussel sprouts are the king of roasted veggies, with asparagus not too far behind.

I fully support the implicit truth of this statement. Although I like both in non-roasted forms as well.

I always start with the high money when I play Jeopardy. But I run a category down to the lowest. (I usually get all the Daily Doubles, because I DOMINATE.)

Have you had roasted cauliflower, Scola? HAVE YOU?!

Although I do love the roasted asparagus, also. (I haven't tried roasted Brussels sprouts because, although I like most veg, I sincerely despise Brussels sprouts. I would try the roasted ones, to be fair, but only if someone else made them.)

Anyway, I've lost five pounds since the beginning of the year and I'm exercising three days a week. It's making a difference.

Way to go, David! Have you experimented with standing at the computer? I bought a cheap standing laptop desk and put it on a table with the power cord. So if I want to spend a lot of time on the computer, I have to stand for some of it.

I love roasted veggies! All sorts. I just get a bunch and chop them up and roast them in a big pile, and then eat them all week. But today I'm going to make dal with eggplant, cauliflower, and zucchini.

I've told you about my amazing brussel sprouts dish, right? Pan frying with bacon, garlic, and butter, then finishing off with just a swish of heavy cream. So delicious. And all the fat negates all that healthy veginess!
