Early enough in the morning might be ok, I dunno. Weekends at mine are always insane, but if I go before 11, it usually isn't too bad or bombed out.
I've learned to park one level up in the mall parking lot adjacent to the TJs lot (not even across the street! "No Parking for Trader Joe's, Pier 1, Balley's Fitness" WHATEVER HOW CAN THEY TELL) and avoid the hell that is the SUVs and obnoxious entitled people who apparently will circle for 20 minutes and try to run over pedestrians for a spot within 25 yds rather than take the stairs and walk across the lot. I hates them. I don't
understand
them. They make their own hell.
Oh, I didn't even think of that! I was totally going to go to TJ's tomorrow. Eh, I'll roll the dice -- as I've probably mentioned, nothing in Boston ever seems that crowded to me.
If it is an option, go once the game has started! Give 'em a chance to restock.
Yeah, I was gonna say, go during the game and no problem.

Before the Puppy Bowl was a thing, I used to grocery shop during the Super Bowl. The store was DEAD, and as long as you didn't want chips, dip, or beer, the shelves were stocked.
TJ's was nuts this afternoon. But it often is on Saturday.
I would go during the game, but the time I'm going to be near a grocery store is tomorrow around 10 in the morning. Oh well.
Oh! My friend who rescues dogs has a puppy in the Puppy Bowl! Delachaise. [link]
My friend Tim got to play with the Puppybowl puppies today!
Eta: she is a serious cutiehead.
I went to both TJs and Costco Wednesday afternoon before thanksgiving. Both were fine.
