Dana, your mom already had it and now your MIL does?? How awful!
I tried the latke truck, and it was pretty delicious. Though also pretty greasy (but then, I had the BLGTA, so bacon and gouda and some kind of aioli don't help). I would highly recommend Teppy come visit, walk to my Trader Joe's, and then get latke truck.
Latke truck? How marvelous, although there is a huge irony in serving latkes with bacon on them.
Today was all servicable food. Nothing awful but nothing inspired either: breakfast was pita bread with a bit of egg salad that was leftover, lunch was a rice and seitan salad, dinner was pasta and a salad. meh.
Jesse, I finished Rules of Civility. I think I liked it more than you did, although I didn't love it. I have nitpicks, too.
SUZI I AM GLAD YOU ARE OK AND THOUGHT ABOUT YOU ALL DAY!!!! so there.
ION, y'all. mac asked me what boner meant tonight and we got through that without nervous laughter or embarrassingly asking to stop the conversation. so proud of myself. also looking to marry a man any second.
I enjoyed Rules of Civility. One of my English teacher buddies said it's like a cheaper Great Gatsby and I added but with likeable characters.
Also, msbelle, Noah asked me why boys don't have babies cut out of their bellies. My explanation used the word uterus. So, I'm feeling you.
I would highly recommend Teppy come visit, walk to my Trader Joe's, and then get latke truck.
Mmmm, latke truck.
Thanks msbelle.
Not!Spartacus struck again and I'm so completely thankful for this community.
And my pain meds are not cutting the pain. I had maybe an hour of relief after I took my latest dose and now I have to wait another 4 before I can take more.
Hah--somehow the bacon/latke irony had not hit me until you mentioned that! Well, their "original" sandwich is pastrami. Though they also do an apple/brie one. In any case, delicious.
I have been trying to work out more so far this year (and doing pretty well at it!). I have not gone and worked out yet tonight (and it's 8:30PM, and I still need to clean the house for the housecleaner?) but it's because I got distracted and did my taxes tonight? Yay? Also, I'm not sure how the hell I earned LESS money in 2013 than in 2012. I guess the signing bonus in 2012 made more of a difference than two months at a much lower salary, and a minuscule raise for 2013? But I'm also proud because I put almost $5K more in my 401k (which, uh, needed it) than in 2012. So, go that.
