I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

My mother's surgery is Monday morning. Her PCP is still not satisfied with her blood work. The hospital has to know by early tomorrow morning whether or not she's cleared. The PCP said, "Well, I guess I can ask them to hurry with the test."

At that point, my mother called the pre-op department and got them involved. They are now coordinating everything, and she'll know one way or the other tomorrow morning.

Jesus fucking christ. My mother-in-law is on the phone. She's been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Oh crap, Dana. Not cool on both counts.

Teppy or anyone... Can I combine oxycodone-acetaminophen with Ibuprofen? Already having breakthrough pain and I have 2 hours before I can take more of the good stuff. They warned me against Tylenol but I forgot to ask about Ibuprofen.

Also, I can see how Micheal Jackson got hooked on propophal. That was an EXCELLENT hour of sleep.

Oh no, Dana.

Strangely, my mother-in-law's case sounds freakishly similar to my mother's. Which is good, I guess, because it's not terribly advanced and hopefully hasn't spread, but I'm just kind of floored.

At least we know a lot of the terms and the answers to questions already.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh jeez, Dana. That's rough.

Suzi, hoping for lack of pain and good healing.

I'm glad we don't have to get Grace cleared for surgery. It would be terrible.

Oh, Dana, I'm sorry.

Suzi, you can combine, yeah. You might make sure there's something in your stomach, though.
