Do people put brown sugar in applesauce? Because I think this "homemade" applesauce from the hopital cafeteria (which is really good and warm) has brown sugar in it.

I don't put anything in my homemade applesauce, but if I were going to add sweetener it would be brown sugar.

It was chunky-stewy. I have only ever had applesauce made by my grandma, and that was white sugar and cinnamon. This was pretty good, though.
