Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Except wait, now I want this: [link] I guess it's actually cling film? I'd have to see it in person first, though.
There's also paintable wallpaper available from the site I linked, which have resistable areas printed on it, so that you get something like a tie-dye effect (or wax-resist). Cool beans, wallpaper has come a long way since I last checked.
But maybe I want to make them hot pink. I just need to think about it for a couple of weeks.
If you use your mirror in the bathroom, keep in mind what Victoria's Secret dressing rooms do with your complexion. I look freaking weird in them (at least, the last I was in that was bright pink.)
Think I am going to swim before I go out. Hopefully everything will still be open. That's one thing I hate about the Y closing at 7 on weekends, it sort of interrupts the day, especially on sunday.
Trader Joe's did not have collard greens so I bought pre-cut bagged kale there for a soup, and I thought of you guys. This kale is going to be braising for 8 hours in the slow-cooker, so no massaging or blanching.

Ha! I had not even thought of that, but should.
THAT's what I was going to do today! Go to Trader Joe's! I guess it's not too late.
The lasagna is delicious! Now I have lunch for the coming week and probably extra for the freezer.
I'd worry about wallpaper in the bathroom. If it's up firmly enough that shower steam doesn't bring it down, it'll be a pain to change when you do want it down.
Crap, no matter how I time it, either the Y or the hardware store will be closed if I chose the other. Oh well, hardware tomorrow.
Hooray lasagna!
Laundry is sorted, one load in the washer; dishwasher is running, quiche crust is in the oven, other components of quiche are ready to be assembled. I guess it's time to read some EW.
