I stopped watching Glee, so I cannot comment on that. I would probably hate that too. I don't think Landslide can't ever be used (Dixie Chicks did a wonderful job), but I don't think it is a song I'd want used in a commercial.
Funny thing about black and white. You mix it together and you get gray. And it doesn't matter how much white you try and put back in, you're never gonna get anything but gray.

Hah. Good to hear, sarameg. I went to see the Oscar-nominated live action films with a friend (the animated ones were showing earlier in the day, but I ended up doing my taxes instead). They were pretty depressing--apparently nothing fun is Oscar-worthy.
