I want to go to Tep's not-getting-married-yet-Bat-Flea-Ship wedding...

The SO was the opposite of slow in proposing. We'd known each other about three weeks when he went down on one knee in the piano house and proposed. (The piano house was the practice facility on campus. It was just an old house, with old pianos in every room. We were there more or less constantly and broke in all the time. Sometimes the security guard would just leave it unlocked for us.) I loved that place.
I, in classic INFP form, said, "Uh....I think so!"
The only reason we had a year of sekrit engagement was that I had just turned seventeen at the time.
Hee. My wedding would have been so geeky. Le sigh.
Tim's would ideally involve explosions and some sort of death ray. Which could work nicely with my Batman theme and keeping people from hugging me.
The SO was the opposite of slow in proposing.
Ah, so we're just maintaining equilibrium in the universe, then, by being your opposite. Fair enough. (I assume you had no explosions at your wedding, though, so we get them all, right?)
I have politely emailed the team arranging our travel to a conference that the San Jose airport is somewhat out of my way.
Everyone's closing up early at my office this afternoon.
Not if you are going to MV
Which you should do, because then we can have sushi.
Tim is not what I call slow.
Sincerely,

Got Married After 13 Years Together
I actually thought about you the other day when I was all lament-ful. And I thought, well, Scrappy and J. are proof that it happens when it happens, and lack of a ring doesn't mean anything about the actual love in the relationship. And I felt better. For reals.
Tep, I found your wedding cake.
(Also possibly every cake Cash's Owen will ever want for the entire rest of his life.)
So unsweetened cornmeal porridge is better than sweetened?
It is better to make me unsweetened food than sweetened, because she cooks for me 4 day a year. She doesn't know enough to know how I sweeten it, but she does know enough to not sweeten mine like she does my father, and to point me at the honey (his is sweetened with condensed milk).
I'd like to note I can legally marry folk in the US, and I will also agree to dress up as any of a wide range of superheroes and villains.
Wigs included.
