I read today that mice (and other rodents, like squirrels) are allergic to mint and can be warded off by keeping the plants in one's kitchen and putting peppermint-soaked cotton balls in cabinets and crevices. I may just give that a try since my traps have had no effect.
I see today's Star Trek marathon has gotten to the good ones, with VI just starting up. So much better than turning on the TV to see Lawrence Luckenbill in Vulcan ears earlier today.

I think I am buying a small white Christmas tree tomorrow if I find one on 50% off and then I'll do an all pink decorated tree next year. I was kinda shocked that stuff in Target was not 50% off yet last week, it has been for the past several years.
Are people seeing Christmas stuff marked way down yet?
