Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's probably soon, Jesse. I'm so sorry.

Jesse, I know. Really, I do. But I think you'll know too. Of course, when I took MK in, I was hoping for a hallelujah and yet still knowing there wasn't going to be one, just needed that last confirmation.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, very soon. I had this notion from having seen people in the vet's office bringing cats in to be put down -- they always just have them in their arms or a blanket or something, so I decided I should wait until then, until I knew he wouldn't try to jump down, and I think that's about now, too.

I have a totally random question. Has anyone else tried TJs cheddar and chocolate cheese?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Okay, have you all seen this game? It may be a good gift for a buffista or a buffista friend or family member.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am so sorry Jesse.

It scares me, the cheese.

Jesse, I chose when MK was tottery and just about to move into not-MK territory. Still mobile and there was MK there, but not for much longer (he'd quit eating a day or two before.) The dumbass was still headbutting me weakly in the exam room as I waited, which gave all sorts of pangs, but he went purring, the jerk. I preferred that to him being so miserable that there wasn't that.
