We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

(So far none of mine have had street signs *anywhere* in view.)

I've had to go pretty far down the road to find a sign. One time it took so long, it changed from summer to winter! Which was funny/scary.

Thrive to spite them

I just got within 51 KM. I knew it was the Key West Bridge but not sure which section.

The picture before that was kind of easy - lots of American Flags. So that narrowed it down quite a bit.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I know the feeling will pass, really. Just would like it to pass a little sooner already.

Oh man, Theo. I know that feeling and it sucks. I'm sorry.

GeoGuessr: Wow, I just got insanely lucky with three out of those five last locations -- found signs that told me exactly where I was. And with the other two, I knew which country I was in and which road I was on, but couldn't tell which part of the country. Total score 23,060, which I'm sure I will never beat.

I've had to go pretty far down the road to find a sign.

Yeah, me too. With that one I finally found a sign that told me I was on 272, though I still had no idea which country I was in or what cities/towns were nearby. The sign didn't look like any US road signs I'd ever seen. Then I saw a truck go past with lettering that told me I was in an English-speaking country with telephone numbers formatted the same as US numbers, and the foliage/landscape looked fairly northern, so I guessed Canada. I haven't been allowing myself to Google place names, but I did spend quite a while dragging the map of Canada around and zooming in and out to try to find 272.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And THEN, I realized as soon as I hit the vending machine button for M&Ms, that what I really wanted was a Hershey bar with almonds. WHY GOD WHY?????

hip deep in pie

I just got .19 km away from the target. Of course they plopped me in front of a landmark in Victoria, BC, so I knew exactly where I was.

Jesse, that is tragic. And always go for the Hershey Almond bar.

I forgot they were even in there! Or, maybe they aren't always in there?

Why can't I just go home?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Day 3 of the No Diet, and I'm finally hitting the hungry-all-the-time-where-are-my-fucking-carbs!! part. sigh. And left the work I could be doing on my desk at, uh, work, so that will have to wait for next week. oops.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I am supposed to go to STID in an hour and a half, and I feel like crap: headache and nausea. It's the 2nd day of my new AD, and it's w/i normal parameters of adjustment, in my personal anecdotal experience, but I don't feel like a loud moving movie.

The tix are already bought. And I want to see it! But I feel gross.

WOES.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I finally got my lunch out of a vending machine. Microwaveable cheeseburger, ftr.

Now a staff meeting, then my day is pretty much over. So it seems to me you should be able to go home, Jesse. All'a'y'all, in fact, go on home.
