well this party has shown me that 1) I was wrong, it was too long and 2) mac cannot have more than 1 friend over at a time for a while.
He is not following house rules at all. He has completely forgotten acting responsible with 5 friends here.
I put food in the oven for them , set the timer and told him to get it like he always does. Well he let someone else get it and they did not turn off the oven and they turned the temp all the way up so the house smells like burned yuck now. then half the friends went outside while he stayed inside with 1 playing a video game. They left doors open to the outside. Our cats are not outdoor cats and the dog, if she had followed them out - would then have had an open gate to the un-fenced front yard. THEN he and the last friend went outside also and left the door in the back room alone shut off from the rest of the house and me. She was freaking out and whining.
Kids, man.
I went to the supermarket and forgot to get milk! WTF. This is what I get for having two cocktails first.
If you'd been drinking White Russians, you'd have remembered the milk.
they are some damn loud these boys. How do people have multiple boys? good lord.
I want to get a power tool of some sort and run out in the yard telling them to shut up and get some manners. Half half an ounce of respect for being in someone else's house and neighborhood. possibly I am too grumpy today.
I'm sorry, msbelle. That does sound like a lot to put up with.
I may still be in "which of the following statements is best supported by the above paragraph" mode. I gotta say, posting here was excellent preparation for that section!
I took a nap that I very possibly needed. And I got the Avengers DVD at the library, so I can watch the extras that I've wanted to see.
In my experience of boys, lots of noise is the inevitable result of fun happening.
I think once you get your certificate and badge (there is a badge, isn't there?), -t, you can come and examine my company. We're very compliant.
