Ooh, sun, finally.
My childhood best friend and I were making up a language (or something, I don't really remember), but we definitely called it Yllomessej.
including bringing back a few people who were laid off in one of the prior rounds (which I've never heard of happening before).
Well, firstly, RELIEVED it's not you. Secondly, I guess if there are people resisting being up to date, this is a danger, and although I expect RIF feels painful every time, calibrating the amount of self-kicking is a precise and tricky manoeuvre (ironically that's a trickier word than I thought when I started typing it). Countrywide laid off a bunch of people, and a couple years later Bank of America, their purchaser, was pointedly trying to track same down for re-hiring. I did not make the un-cut, which is good for my mental health as well as car mileage, but damn it stings not being able to get back into the room, even if it's not your precise job that's hiring.
Ooh, sun, finally.
Which song does this trip off in your head, and performed by who? I've got Nina Simone singing Here Comes The Sun. I'm not sure why people fight and deny a song they like is a cover, but I did hiss and spit on this. Who the fuck are the Beatles anyway?
...I just tried to add a "graphic guidelion" layer to my adobe newsletter template. I feel that would end badly.
I want a guidelion.
A lot.
I want a guidelion.
A lot.
A guidelion would be very useful while commuting through hyena-controlled lands.
Every day we would sing "I just can't wait to be king!"
Backwards, I'd be Derf. Which a few people tried to call me, back in the day. Luckily, it never caught on.
On the other hand, could be worse. Could be Kcirederf. Which sounds like a background character in some overwrought medieval story.
I would be Einnoc, which I'm not sold on. Sounds like a name from a bad fantasy novel, with lots of monsters and predestined stable boys.
