I'm sorry, dad. You know I would never have tried to save River's life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I can't really sleep in anything due to the bunching up issue. Maybe a t-shirt that is tight. I always think I will like nightgowns, but no!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

My house is full of Polish ladies.

Are they polishing?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I can't wear anything on my lower half. Cotton nightshirts FTW.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

45 minutes to the W-E-E-K-E-N-D. Nobody is giving me anything to do, but I don't feel like going around asking for projects. Cleaned out my "downloaded files" folder and reorganized my documents already. Hm.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Indeed, Ginger.

Also breaking something, if that noise I just heard is any indicator.

I've recently come round to nightgowns, but only above the knee ones so they don't tangle or bunch much.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am hoping for rain tomorrow so we do not have a soccer game. I want to stay in bed all day. Depression is eating my brain and my will to do anything.

Initial job searching has turned up next to nothing. Part of the issue is that I am getting paid very well right now. I don't need to make quite as much, but as most people, I have now become accustomed to the paycheck being a certain amount and taking significantly less would be hard.

I'm sorry, msbelle. It is hard to go to less money even when it will come with less drama and aggravation. And job searching in general is pretty not fun.

Polish ladies gone. They did not do the greatest job, but did take care of most of the big stuff, so it's a step forward. Now I can call someone better who I can get to come in on a regular basis (my indulgence from my bonus this year) who won't have seen the worst of it!

msbelle, I hope something worthy of you, and decently paying, comes up soon.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Lately mys sleeping routine has involved twisting into various pretzel shapes until I find one that does not hurt. Hopefully with the new medication that won't continue. My routine when not in pain is: during winter -sleeping under a sheet, no blankets, with my feet sticking out. During warm weather, skip the sheet.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I've been thinking about reading this one, Kat. Did you like it? I thought about picking it up when I finished Flight Behavior, the new Barbara Kingsolver book, but that book made me so upset and paranoid about climate change that I decided I needed to read something that probably wouldn't make me feel like I was going to die.

Kate, I really enjoyed it. The catastrophe that happens is depressing, but feels pretty unlikely, so therefore not as bad as Flight Behavior which seems like it might happen next week.

Grace is using her iPad to tell me things, like she and I both have inhalers or that she likes iced tea. I love how communicative she's getting.
