I'm just, uh, just feeling kinda... truthsome right now. And, uh... life's just too damn short for ifs and maybes.

Our wings are not tired.

To entertain while sleeping, pictures from the Ultra Music thing my son it at this weekend in Miami. They said they caught some kids trying to crash by swimming in from Biscayne Bay. [link] My son is oh so very impressed. From the scene I am guessing that I wouldn't have been allowed in even if I had tried because clearly 40 years too old.

brillig

I got many weird looks when I went to the Warped Tour to see Billy Idol. One kid whispered "What's she doing here? Is she someone's mom?" A kid answered "I bet she's here to see Billy Idol, there are a lot of moms here to see him." "Yeah. We ought to go see him before he dies or something." "yeah."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

She did arrive--she said I shouldn't wait an hour to call her anymore, so I'm doing it at 45 minutes late, and got her as she was parking.

I'm pretty sure I would call at 5 minutes late, given her pattern.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Congratulations, CJ!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I had a Liese AT MY HOUSE! neener neener neener. I was thrilled to be near enough for a short visit. She's as awesome as I knew and so polite to not even comment on the tragic state of my home and yard. SO perfect.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I want a Liese. And a msbelle. And a Vortex, a Beverly, a Jesse, a Connie, a Laura... it is going to get crowded fast, but I want ALL the buffistas.

Thanks again for the congrats to CJ. After seeing bits and pieces of his black belt test, I'm not sure if I'm going to make it past my current rank. But the pride each and every black belt had after all that work sure makes me want to work for it.

In other CJ news, he is off for a 12 hour shift with the fire department. I sent him a text earlier "Having fun" and his response was "Very Much". Looking forward to hearing about all the drunken suburbanites. Though I have a hard time picturing any real St. Patty's day issues in our area, I can only think of a couple of places that serve booze nearby.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I made it home! And I had a nap. I am much less full of hate.

I bailed on an outreach concert thing, though. It would have been like 3 hours of time commitment for one song, and I couldn't face it. I needed sleep and time to do laundry and cook.

Oh, of course, my bags haven't made it yet.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't even pass the "ever heard of it" Ultra Music Festival test.

I'm pretty sure I would call at 5 minutes late, given her pattern

And she now told me to give her an hour! Good lord. The "I have other patients" reason for being late is more than valid.

Except if she's home when I call.

Christ, the difference between being ready at 10 on a Sunday morning and 11 is huge. Like, I don't sleep in, but I'd love to pretend I could, from time to time.

What's the best way to try and identify a tree? I mean, past linking a pic here (currently working around the sudden vanishment of all my mini USB data cables, and my laptop ignoring the SD card...

AND I did yardwork for the first time in forever. what a mess. 1 full outside trashcan and it doesn't look too much different.

I did pull a handful of not yet bloomed dandelion which I plan to wash thoroughly and add to my salad.
