We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm climbing tonight, I think. Tomorrow I'm going for a long run and then I will do my folks' taxes, and then I go to the theater. Sunday I will go for a bike ride.

Somewhere in there I need to do a metric tonne of laundry.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Buffista castle sounds like a great idea.

This weekend I'm going to do some gardening, walk over to the farmers market, and spend some time with a friend of mine (and Amyth's) who is visiting from WI.

Today was a good day at work. I've been moved, more or less, from the organzation's website to its eLearning section. I won't go into detail, but on the new job the time from identifying a major problem, staging a possible solution, getting sign off on the solution, and implementing the fix? Less than two weeks. A similar process in my previous role? Well, there is more than one item we started on four years ago and the various involved parties are still debating the best way forward on them.

I love being able to fix things that are broken.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am stuck between Marketing and IT and nowhere to lay my head.

I need examples to present to IT Directors of how to do something...and we apparently have never done it. How do I make this presentation?

...I am working this weekend, that's what I am doing.

hip deep in pie

I am supposed to be celebrating someone's 40th tomorrow night, but only my digestive track knows for sure if I will make it, and it's not telling.

I am feeling much better today, but I still did not go to work. But I had an appetite and ate food and it was mostly normal. Until I tried to eat a chicken sandwich tonight. Ate the first half okay. Tried the second half and started retching two bites in, but didn't throw up. Maybe too much food at once for my tum?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That seems less than ideal

I'm glad you are feeling somewhat better, at least, Sue.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Doesn't sound like a good day, ita. My day was stressful but productive. But I really need it to be over now.
