I have not had pie. But I did have tacos and michelada and a piña colada and am about to have empanadas....

Sadly it was cloudy the whole day here.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Empanadas are pies! Basically.

Good luck, Amy.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

It was sunny here! Cold though.

The air in the planes is actually rarely a vector for infection. It is pretty seriously scrubbed.

It does dry out the mucus membranes though. So much for that line of defense against airborne nasties.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just realised that the movie I'm watching is familiar because I read a fic based on its plot.

NO WAY I'M GOING TO LIKE THEM AS MUCH AS THE NONEXISTENT FICTIONAL COUPLE I'VE ALREADY WATCHED JUMP THROUGH THESE HOOPS. Also, the sex won't be as great.

And this is an Orlando Bloom movie to boot...

smonster or anyone else ladder-familiar: I'm thinking about getting this ladder: [link] I really want a telescoping over extension for maneuverability and storage. Reasonable?

I wouldn't want one like that at work but it might be fine for personal use. Have you looked at a Little Giant?

I wouldn't need it much, but when I'd need it, I'd NEED it. And I loved my inspectors. There may be a geek factor playing here. But also the idea of maneuvering an extension ladder through my house to get to the roof is NOOOOOO.
