Now tagless for your comfort.

I love Coal Miner's Daughter, even though the wedding night scene freaked me out. Especially because my grandmother (who grew up within a few miles of Loretta Lynn, also married my grandfather when she was 15 and he was 25. I have no idea if their wedding night went similarly but she had 12 children with him and they were married for over sixty years.

Because books.

I think NYC has Skin Tight Denim which is one of my favorite deep blues.

I love the new emerald shades out right now. Sort of perfectly half green and half blue.

I always wonder why things like this don't affect me the same way. Maybe because I was watching to see how she survived it?

I think I also wound up with a sort of fatalist view of a lot of life, i.e. this is the way it is, and that's that. Which is not great, I guess.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think NYC has Skin Tight Denim which is one of my favorite deep blues.

It's a great polish. And still "on trend" what with the new Chanel Blue Satin and all.

Chanel Blue Satin

Oooh. That's nice. That might actually be the blue I was looking for when I found OPI's Yoga-ta Get This Blue, which is currently my favorite blue: [link]

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Steph, that is my favorite OPI blue.

So I finally have a work trip to the Bay Area next week. Got me thinks of my other projects and where I could, maybe, possibly get sent. Salt Lake City is the next highest possibility followed by Cape Cod. Unfortunately the latter has little opportunity. Oh, maybe Atlanta. I want to travel and have work pay.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I have fallen out of the polish habit. This conversation makes me want to get back into it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's clear that if there's a Thing to catch, I have it, because breathing is fire now. I'm trying to convince myself that when I wake up tomorrow I'll feel better than I do right now, even if by the end of tomorrow I feel worse. This is in order to at most need Friday off, but I don't want to lie around at home wanting to barf with pain and being bored and feeling sorry for myself.

I over-estimated and went to Bird Pick on my way home (uh, if you have the Westfield Mall app, IT IS WRONG ABOUT THE LOCATION OF THIS STORE). I got a couple ounces of a couple teas, and I'm about to try the vanilla sencha. However, if I had believed all the signs (not supported by the FDA, tho) I'm sure I could have cured anything up to and including cancer with the right herb. However, the staff's total excitement over the woman who came in with a pink stroller carrying two daschunds (named Frieda and Diego) ("You did not! You did!") has strongly embossed "twee" into the Bird Pick file.

That's kind of cute.

Or possibly living among the hipsters has finally gotten to me. (After all, I'm considering decorating with mason jars at my wedding: [link] Apparently that's uber-hipster.)

Our wings are not tired.

House~ma, Flea!

Never saw Coal Miner's Daughter. Yes, on the list.

I don't even like those big-small commuter planes. Give me a giant honkin' sky tank, and I can (sort of) relax. Some wispy little thing where you can count the passengers and crew on both hands? NO NO NO.

From back a ways. My family is the exact opposite. My cousin had a flight school. My son's 18 yo best friend is already soloing. I had lots of flight training, but never completed. We are very comfortable in a tiny aircraft where we have a sense of control, but less comfy in the big airliners. In a small plane I know I can land in a bunch of places even if my engines fail. The huge planes are way more complex.
