Oof, Valerie Harper has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and has three months to live.

We have a snow day, although we've only got about an inch. North of here was supposed to get 4-6, though, and, for example, Dillo's teacher lives out that way.
Our office is closed, because a lot of folks live north of town. But I have stuff to work on at home. And I have a dentist appointment at 4:00, which is fortunately just a couple of blocks from my house. Maybe I'll walk up there.
We're just getting wind here. Our DC office is closed, though. I suspect I'll have to give up on the hope of seeing any notable snow here this winter. C'mon midwest job searches--find me something worth moving for!
I do not have it together today. I was at the park watching the dog romp in the snow and realized I hadn't even put her collar on before we left the house. Oops. How do people expect me to work when I can't even brain?
I know, Hec, that is so sad. Rhoda will live forever, though.
Very sad about Valerie Harper.
I was going to give that article props for using the word hoosegow (I couldn't tell you the last time I read that--probably the way out of date books I read up through my tween years), but the ending irritates me:
Soooo …there you have it. Was the Caped Crusader gay? You decide.
Why do we get to decide?
It's possible I'm bringing my irritation from the SPN fandom with me, though. Very possible.
Why do we get to decide?
Because we're awesome?
I dunno.
