Just to re-post flea's post:
Snow report from West of Most of You: Snowing pretty steadily in Cincinnati, but still warm enough that it's slushy as heck. We are banking on a snow day (kids are not in bed yet.)
We just went out and switched car spots in the driveway so Tim is on the end, since we live a mile and a half from his work and he would go to work even if Godzilla were rampaging through Northside. Anyway, it is CRAZY slushy. It's not even good snowball consistency yet.
OMG, you guys -- my cousin who was cheating on her husband and suddenly married the other guy? Now back to using her first husband's last name on Facebook and listed as "separated." I wish I were better at keeping in touch with her sister, because I cannot message her just to gossip.
I swear I read all today's posts, but, well, going from working about 12 hours a week to more like 50 is gonna be rough, judging by today. So, um, pretend I said something like a proper response, I probably thought of some while I was reading but they are gone.
I mean, good day on the whole, but I am tired and my brain is not really working.
If I can get through this week and next week and start getting scheduled a little less often for inventories I think I'll be in good shape, though.
"Business casual" at the new place of employment apparently includes jeans. I'm going to have to ask for the official dress code because the vague things conveyed to me today (something about stockings and arm length skirts) I really did not understand. Jeans are allowed, flip-flops are not, I'm not sure about anything else.
I went to the office today 50% because I like being caught out in weird weather. I never go in on Tuesdays.
(But in the worst weather I could walk home in an hour or less, so. )
Work is good, but I'll be happy when I can get back to 40 hour weeks. I know I'll miss the OT (I love that I get OT and am salaried). This week is looking to be 50+ and I'm traveling next week, so that will be over 50 also. Busy is good, Suz. Busy is good.
Arrrg. Ok, I just said work was good but our technical assistance group just pissed me off. I sent in a request to upgrade Microsoft Project from 2007 to 2010 and the response I got directed me to purchase a new license for 2013. Hello, did you read my request? Our client uses 2010. I need to be using 2010.
my stupid kid is the only stupid kid who is not excited about a vacation to F'in Disney. turd.
Oh oh oh, I also need to report that I am in my very first cubicle! It is exciting. And I need to decide what mug to bring in for my at-the-office hot beverages. Wheee!
@@ at mac. BTW, had to put the lizard in a high place, Pumpk thinks it an awesome toy.

Make him watch Pirates of the Caribbean. And random Disney World videos on YouTube. He'll get the idea.
