In other, less depressing news, while I was outside on the phone with Stephen earlier, Isaac Mizrahi walked by me! QVC is headquartered here, so that's probably why, but whatever, it was very cool. You can't miss those curls.

Hey, today is National Grammar Day. So Chicago or AP? I'm Chicago.
Today is also Hug a GI Day. And National Pound Cake Day.
Tomorrow:
- National Cheese Doodle Day
- National Multiple Personality Day
Wednesday:
- Dentist Day
- National Frozen Food Day
The 8th and 9th are even better:
Mar 08
- National Be Nasty Day
Mar 09
- National Crabmeat Day
- National Panic Day
So perhaps the most efficient thing would be to be nasty on the 8th, and then panic about the results of your nastiness the next day.

Hug a GI Day
I suppose my gastro-intestinal tract could use some affection . . .
So Chicago or AP?
Chicago says that ellipses should be three dots separated by non-breaking spaces (. . .) instead of just three dots (...). That is just SO WRONG. I cannot abide.
It is so right!
I love Chicago. Even though I'm supposed to edit AP style now.
I prefer the look of the spaces between the dots, but it makes text formatting tricky.
Spaces between the dots is what I was taught, but I frequently have trouble making it look right and resort to no spaces.
Grammar Day will be a state holiday on Buffista Island, I assume. With cake and pie and absinthe and long discussions about how to punctuate lists of same.
And everyone will wear a crown of semi-colons.
