I'm not evil again. Why does everyone think that?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It's using stolen credit card to buy anything at a Christian Center I find peculiar. This is perhaps colored by my reading the Golden Calf episode today.

Sounds like you are shopping like I do, Jesse.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh yeah, that was also my take-away. "A stolen credit card! Now I can finally get that bible and WWJD bracelet I've always wanted!"

If only they'd had the WWJD bracelet before stealing the CC#! Because I'm pretty sure Jesus would not have done that.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Argh. Once again, trying to coordinate a restaurant meal with my family. We've gone from "let's go now. we're both starving!" at 1:30, to no, let's all go out to eat together at 5pm. So I made reservations for 5. I'm at home, still hungry, they're at the other house in the middle of some project, and reservations have been pushed back to 6pm. Now I'm leaving to join them at the other house, and Niece is gone off somewhere, and I swear. We won't get to eat before 6:30 at best. Jeebus. Should've known, should've gone on and had lunch.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

My hair drove me nuts today so I sucked up some courage and walked into a salon and went with the first available stylist. I like the color and the cut seems good. Will know more when I style it myself. The greys are gone for now and I have bangs again. Woot!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Not really - Christians come in all moral flavors just like everybody else. My late father was in the business world, and he always winced when a check with a bible quotation on it came in. Because it was 90% certain to bounce. Not a commonality among Christians in general, a commonality among Christians who chose to order custom checks with bible verses. I think there are some relevant quotes about overly public shows of piety not being a good sign of having the holy spirit. But they don't come to mind at the moment.

Actually, it seems weird to me, too, because of the whole Ten Commandments, Thou Shalt Not Steal thing. The idea that one is a Christian implies that one at least pays lip service to those tenets.

The only time I found out what thieves bought with my credit card, it was super stereotypical: expensive TV, trendy clothes, etc.

I have, luckily, never had worse than failed attempts to buy stuff (a tank of gas, membership in a dating site, fairly small transactions but obviously not mine) that the CC company caught right away.
