You know how we're kind of an umbrella? One of the companies we're an umbrella for is on the 13th floor. So, sometimes their visitors mandate business formal. However, the Marketing group on 12 also does have the odd person that means us on 11 dress up and pretend anyone gives a fuck. It's exasperating, but they're always recruiting more of the smaller companies that make up the larger company we're the umbrella for. Or individuals. Who seem to like ties.

And I have to say--I hate that management doesn't reprimand, apparently, if you "forget". I have never not known when I'm supposed to wear business formal, never shown up in jeans when I shouldn't, but some people are making a point of not doing it, and I think that either they should be clearly, ah, dressed down, or we should all be allowed to dress down in an admission that it's not important. But it absolutely shouldn't be my individual call.

Cass, in looking at my inventory sheet, I can tell you we have 7 boxes left of Tagalongs. Nom nom nom. (Also, 3 Thin Mints, 10 Samoa (!!) and 1 Do-Si-Do.) I will have to order more Thin Mints for boothing next weekend, but I'll worry about it then.

I am willing to Paypal or send you a check for one or two of those if they need a forever home. I can pick them up in a few weeks-ish.

In Downton news, oh my god do I hate Thomas and O'Brien . But I also think they're written really over the top. There's barely a shade of gray there in either one of them.

We are just finishing up our first cookie boxes. Mmm, Samoas and Tagalongs are my favorites. Oh oh oh! I posted some happy GS cookie squeeing on FB, and my BiL commented some crap about GMOs. Dude, I do NOT point out all the GMOs lurking in his near constant food posts, do I? But I had no choice but to ignore him as he was just looking to bait me.

We have so many samoas it's ridiculous. Last weekend at the end of boothing we had 20 boxes leftover. I cannot tell you how ridiculous my house looked that day -- boxes of cookies and envelopes of cash everywhere. Ask Kristin or Drew, if you don't believe me.
