It is Cake Boss cake! Tons of frosting but the cake itself is pretty good. I hate my grocery store's bakery so I was happy to find something else to try.

I bought the largest knee support avail at Walgreens and it is too small. Guess I'll look for something online.

My company just switched to them this year. Lotta grumbling cause of all the fees (overdraft for insufficient funds rather than rejecting the card, paper statement-which was a default and the website wasn't transparent to turn it off, for paper check rather than direct deposit, etc) and then apparently there was more. The letter also implies inaccurate responses from the helpdesk, funds not being available. So, yikes.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I will only have Sunday free, so I doubt I'll make it all the way through the season. I have to be functional on Monday.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Woot, someone just came and picked up a chest of drawers, and someone else is supposed to come get the file cabinet.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I have a new employer and the way they do HSA is a straight out clusterfuck. I had to go with one company for the HSA, and another administers the debit card. OMG. I just can't even deal.

And I think I had to submit DNA in order to get the account established in the first place.

I seriously considered looking into setting up my own HSA rather than the company (my self-employed friends do this) but the idea of the tax work I'd have to do (it would be moved after tax, so I'd have to make sure of how to go to get the taxes back) and me so bad with all that....

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

But, le n, at least yours does a debit card. I have to submit and get a check back two weeks later. Pain in the ass!

I've had a super exciting night of mopping the floor and cleaning the bathroom and remaking the twins bunk beds. I still have to go buy some food and a glass bowl. My life...it sure is exciting.

Also I spent 2 hours reconciling the cookie books. Jesus! We still have 21 boxes in inventory. And a cookie booth next weekend. I think I need to learn to be less controlly and let the cookie mom sweat all of the details. The problem is that kids at my school, which has no girl scouts of its own in that neighborhood, LOVE the cookies and always ask me for some. So I have a sort of weird supply of them.

Kat,

I would almost prefer that (and I did that - scanned in the receipts, etc.) because half the time I forget to use my debit card.

Our old insurance had an auto-submit thing, so that was pretty sweet. We'd just get checks in the mail. The debit card is not bad, once we got in the habit of using it.

I can do both, but with this stupid card, if it is over the balance, they accept it and then you start getting hit with fees for INSF. Past cards either declined (and you could submit for less reimb) or acted like a credit card and send you a bill for the difference at the end of the year, no interest. The latter was 2 years ago, it was nice.

I won't have the funds in my account to cover *just* the crowns until the end of this year. So pointless to use it.
