BTW, I found about about this problem with pageonce. I got an alert that there had been a large purchase on my account from zara. I'm a pageonce fan in case any of you might be interested in it. It gives you alerts for bank accounts, utilities, etc.

I follow this, but I go from rock to rotten, completely missing nommy goodness. It is like Eddie Izzard's routine about pears being ripe only when you aren't looking. That is my luck with avocados in my house.

I have never gone and except for 1 year, I have done my taxes myself. I can't do it anymore - lost patience and with the move I don't feel like dealing with the bullshit.
Do you have any tips for me (I booked an appt with them next month) in terms of having them prepare my taxes? I was planning to bring my last three years of returns and spreadsheets for tax items. Is that sufficient (she says, with her anal-retentive side coming out)

Heee. They probably only need last year's, but having multiple years can be helpful. And whatever paperwork you have for this year. With a move, you will need the mileage and all the costs related. The fact that you are even thinking about what to gather a month a head of time means you will not be one of those people pulling numbers off the ceiling.
