Lots of house~ma, Kat. That place reminds me in a lot of ways of the house my best friend bought in the Oakland hills a couple of years ago, all stairs and porches and little rooms and nooks.
And general vibes to Nora, because I can't make heads or tails of that email from your lawyer and so can't vibe anything specific, and because you are so due for this stupid house misery to END.
I think there may be words missing from that e-mail. I'd try asking the lawyer directly.

I cannot figure out why I love smushed faced, wrinkled dogs so much. I LOVE pugs, but not as much as Shar-Pei's. I just want to squish their wrinkles!!!!

I just used an app for Walgreen's to refill a prescription--scanned the bar code on the bottle. Took one second. I love living in the future.

I was tired yesterday and laid down around 6pm thinking maybe I'd nap until I had dance class. I woke up when the alarm went off and said "no". Then I woke up around 10pm and thought fuck that, and slept until morning. 14 hours. Dang.

I'm equal parts annoyed with myself and with a local carpet cleaning service. I bought a 3-room carpet cleaning deal through Living Social, and I discovered when I went to schedule it that they don't do apartments. It was in the fine print of the deal, but I didn't look for it because I wasn't aware anti-apartment bias was a thing. Unfortunately it's too late to get my money back from Living Social. (Although I did email them mentioning that I wasn't happy about things and why.) I guess losing $55 will teach me to read the fine print in the future.
I think pugs are kind of charming. I see one being walked in the morning when I'm on my way to work. Very cute.
