Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I do not understand the White House Correspondents' Dinner. I thought it was for White House Correspondents-- but instead there are pictures of a lot of celebrities in attendence-- and not ones that are political in any way-- ones like Lindsay Lohan!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The press organizations invite fancy and/or famous people to sit at their tables, in hopes that the celebrity rubs off.

Because books.

That's what I was going to say. Lindsay Lohan is still an odd choice, though.

I have to get blood drawn today. But then I think my dad is taking me to lunch, so that's a yay.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

we are calling him Ralph Stanley.

Shouldn't that be Rowlf Stanley?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

so work drama is more dramatic than I realized. not only was there a meeting and an official write-up. there is a 30 day review period. I do not think this will end well for co-worker.

Because books.

Uh oh. That doesn't sound good.

Speaking of work drama, everyone in the four-person art department at the paper where S. works quit last week -- except for the one guy everyone wants fired, because he won't do anything, and can't do anything right anyway. Good times.
