The Silent Auction for CJ's search and rescue team went really well. We made just over $20k. Our annual operating expenses are about $30k, so this went pretty well.

Cupcake party was delicious. If a bit obnoxious since all the women knew each other from running club so most were very skinny. Humph. Mine did not win, though they got a few votes. Winners were a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter icing ( good, but mostly because it was not pumpkin) and a pumpkin one with an amazing cinnamon icing. Notably, no one voted for the vegan cupcakes...

My fancy-lady problem of the day: I'm going to a thing tonight, and wanted to wear a crimson/maroon dress, but I just got an awesome red purse, and the two colors would NOT go, and I'll be carrying around my purse all night. So I went with a zebra-ish dress and lime green cardigan, which will look awesome with the purse.

Not that any of it is especially news to anyone who's been paying close attention; it's just kind of boggling to see it laid out in 200 pages of excruciating detail.
