Sorry Allyson! I didn't mean to proclaim my love and then leave. I... uh... just had to get to work in time for a meeting. Oops.
I love you for your quick mind that can whiffle through its mental rolodex and pull up the card that says the USPS is written into the Constitution.
Timelies all!
I'm not a fan of coffee, period. I don't even like coffee flavored stuff. So 7-11 coffee or civit-cat-poop coffee, it's all the same to me.
The current state of the post office is a classic example of how you can't have your cake and eat it too in the obsession to privatize and deregulate essential services. If UPS had to satisfy all of Congress's constituencies, it wouldn't make a profit either.
actually if the post office had not been milked with weird prepay requirements it would have had its first loss this year.
whhich does not contradict your larger point
people should sent more notes. I am about to send thank you notes to a bunch of people involved with the event I did in November. Then I am going to try send my grandmother a note a month at least in 2012.
I am very sad that my vanilla ice cream is finished. It was (and I quote) "ultra super premium". Also, on sale. Kinda velvety nice.

I agree! I got an actual letter from my BFF last week, and it made my day. I'd almost forgotten how lovely her handwriting is.
