I just remembered in last night's major dream, my boyfriend was played by Donald Glover.
In last night's dream, I shared a great-great grandfather with one of my students, and somehow we got to go through a house with artifacts. And discovered that our shared ancestor was a serial killer and a child molester. I think I need to stop watching Law and Order SVU as bedtime tv.

You should spend the month of December in a land without holidays. Like Antarctica. Of course, then it would be travel anxieties.
I want to hang lights outside (front) but can't figure out how to rig a cord out there (doors shut too tight. I could use the mail slot, but...) May just stick to lights on the deck.

My room is clean, just need to vacuum. I went through KCD's IRS tax notice and pulled together what he needs to respond. It is so stupid cause the instructions say that you don't need to report a house sale unless you have a taxable gain. Well, our exemptions cover the (theoretical) gain we had, so neither of us reported it. And now they hit him with the full value of the sale. BS paperwork crap.
Also went through my stash of prezzie for the kids and my secret santee. Need to start wrapping and boxing things up. Need a few more stocking stuffers and I think I'm all set. Next up, Holiday cards.
