Yellow does not affect GL, FTR.

You'd think the reboot would have been good for *something.* Making yellow back into GL's weakness would have been excellent.

I think the powerful symbology of the rainbow of colours and their psychological meanings is too valuable to DC for that. Having it not be an inherent weakness plays into that.

I was thinking more comedic potential, really. Too much about the reboot bugs me, so GL running from a canary would be comedy gold.

TW, TJs has speculoos now. Cheaper than the Biscoff at Giant, but not sure how it compares to F&E, pricewise of the brand name tastewise.

Oy, bad eyes tomorrow. Responded to a friend in the 'hood's email about MK and it kinda messed me up. I managed to wash his pawprints from him peeing on his feet in the litter the past couple weeks without trauma. Cause, you know, that shit is gross and needs to be cleaned up But that was an epoch in my life. Done now. Funny the shit (literally) you miss.

I had hoped to decorate, but spent the evening cleaning and packing, shocker. But the cats are moved, I cleaned the stove (took an hour), sink, counters, and cabinet interiors. Tomorrow I need to take the last odds and and finish cleaning. My neighbors I've been hanging with the last couple of days are going to help, I think. If I'm good, I'll get one load moved before brunch tomorrow.

The cats don't seem to be freaking too much, though Bella curled up in her carrier at the old house for the first time in over nine years I've had her. I think it was the last cozy spot in the house, or she'd just accepted the inevitable.

And sarameg, it is odd the things we miss. When Lucy the foster kitty died, I missed the sound of her stomach gurgling a foot from my head, though we'd only had her a few weeks and at first it kept me up.

As I posted on fb, 22.22% of my life thus far has revolved around MK's shot schedule. How did that happen? ! And yet, I did it, and it didn't feel like that much except for taking vacations (honestly, I probably used it as an excuse to get out of social crap I didn't want to do!) I'd do it again. I got a lot from him in those 8 years.

I'm almost annoyed at the Loki-Pumpkin partnership cause the fuckers get along and play so well they ignore me. But then I watch them play, crack up, extract one and go have a cuddle.

Need to convince the 'kin she can sleep in the bed, though. But not have a romp across at 5 am.

I can't taste compare because I do not have the biscoff, but the TJs brand is pretty good, my roomie bought it the other day and we tested.
