Don't worry, we're sure to spot Faith first. She's like this cleavagy slut-bomb walking around 'Ooh, check me out, I'm wicked-cool, I'm five-by-five.'

would that be a good idea? Buy my parents and my sister photo album keychains and load them up with family pics and other photos I've taken, as a stocking stuffer equivalent?

Ooooh.

What a great idea! I have a ton of old family photos that my dad scanned a few years back: this would be a really fun thing to do with them. Hmm, do I have the time between now & Christmas? Maybe.

How big are they, ita? Can you actually see the photos?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can you actually see the photos?

They're an inch and a half diagonal. I thought it was a decent compromise between visibility and portability, but you will have to select your pictures with a bit of care. I'm thinking of the photo keyring my mother and sister carry now (a photo sandwiched in plastic) and it's about the same size, and you can see three of us full body well enough to make it a decent souvenir.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would guess it depends on the dpi or whatever in the frame. I have a several-years-old iPod mini, and the video clarity is shockingly good. Although I guess it's two inches.

I really like the idea of giving one to my Mom, as something really portable that requires no effort or understanding on her part.

Hey, Sox! I'll shoot you an e-mail momentarily! Actually, Amy, too, with address and such.

Thrive to spite them

So New Kitten is in the house. Dean is not quite sure about what is going on, but so far no hissing. I know I should probably keep them completely separate for a few days but I'm going to wing this.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My department has decided that this year's Selfish Santa is going to be ALL BOOZE. Do I show up with a nice bottle of red wine that everyone will fight over, or go the other direction and introduce my co-workers to Fernet?

Fernet!

eta: now I want to steal this idea for my office. All-booze Selfish Santa. And bring Fernet.
