Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The new university president is sending out campus-wide emails practically every day, letting us know what's going on with the university administration, to show us that he's open and honest and not keeping any secrets. These emails are starting to get annoying.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Time to mark them as junk mail!

Or at least set up filters.

sarameg, bless your heart. I'm sad to hear of MK's passing. I truly enjoyed stories of his adventures. You were the best possible human for him and, with his permission, I'd say thank you, on his behalf.

Oh sara, love to you. MK was much loved and a dear sweet old man. I will miss our sleepovers.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry, sarameg.

Today was the first day of what have been my 2 bad weeks a month and the new meds seem to only be slightly better. Am administering wine. I tried cleaning up the house a bit, but only managed to get really frustrated.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Cold. Fraking cold. It has been about two months at the library in which we have not had a boiler. The last two days have been miserable. Not sure how I am going to make it until 9 tonight

I hope your week improves msbelle

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, sarameg.

I hope Grace's surgery goes/has gone well.

I've been narrating how-to videos for some eLearning projects at work. Apparently I sound like an alto Alan Rickman with a midwest US accent. Why did no one tell me I've been Snape-ing it up all my life?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I went shopping with my mom and sister. My sister works at Old Navy, and they have massive sales and she gets a discount.

She got me 2 pairs of SIZE 12!!!! jeans. For 11.25 each.

They fit. They fit well, and are a little loose in the waist and thighs. WTFF!?!?!?!?!

Also, between the 3 of us, we have ALL THE HANUKKAH GIFTS FOR M! So MUCH angry birds, robost, Phineas and Ferb, ninjas, spaceships and dinosaurs. Mom wouldn't let me give her more than $15.

And they had made a Sam's Club run, and brought GIANT bags of dog and cat food, and 2 giant bags of cat litter. My family is the BEST! She also took us out to lunch and bought me a prime rib sandwich, which is basically an excellent prime rib on a bun. I threw out the bun and snarfed the steak and fries. NOMNOMNOM. I hadn't eaten at all yesterday -- got too busy.

My mom referred to M to a clerk as her "grandson" twice today. For the first time. OMG, so CUTE!
