Jayne: We was just about to spring into action, Captain. Complicated escape and rescue op. Wash: I was going to watch. It was very exciting.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sara, I hope MK rallies.

This week is already really freaking long, and I haven;t made it into the office yet, because today was inspection day, and GISHWHES day, and Dentist day and work at home day, and clean up a little day, and other stuff I have forgotten day.

Yes!

It went..not great, but not really bad for an old house,so now we have to talk to the owner about who fixes a few things.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I jumped the gun, ita ! Perkins can vouch for their utter ridic, though.

Man, I need to clean the house and WORK!!! But not now.

I have a random persimmon with a box cutter stabbed through it on my desk. Do I eat it?

....It's pretty bland.

Now tagless for your comfort.

No more naps at 6:30 pm. I'm awake and watching a panel discussion on C-SPAN. Economists from the Brookings Institute and the American Enterprise Institute are discussing the Joint Deficit Reduction Committee failure.

Does that qualify for nerdy?

Allyson, I, too, bit my nails until a few years ago. I still keep them short because they are thin and tend to peel. But I keep them painted and that helps. I just did a mani this evening.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Does that qualify for nerdy?

Yes. Until they add economists from the Ponds Institute, then it gets upgraded to wacky.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Seems like a very incomplete discussion without the EPI or someone from that part of the spectrum on the panel. Discussion between center and right with no one from the left?

I just caught the tail end. There was a Washington Roll Call journalist, too. I missed his part.
