Ouch Sue! Ouch Amy!
I need to grade today, many many papers. And one student still hasn't turned in hers, and the semester ends on Friday, at which point her B turns into an F. Oy! I want her to turn in the paper and pass the class, but I have no power to make it happen.
I want to sleep. Finally I want to sleep. I am at work. Doing all sorts of personal stuff. My BevMo loyalty cards are merged into one. I have a list of cyber Monday computers to choose from for my sister, but I'm freaking out and can't remember which brands are good (see Tech). I have a green light for time off. So I need to buy tickets. I have faxed my lien request.
I've even done work.
Sleep!
Of course, I left the house without taking anything. I am a little achier, but not by much. I think an epic headache may be brewing, though. I am also very lucky to be off today.
Ugh Sue, I say take something now before the headache hits.
ita ! you have been most productive. Can you nap at work?
And not to be too random, but I came here with a buffista PSA: Groupon has a good coupon for Donor's Choose: $10 for a $50 donation. And I'm pretty sure Kat has a proposal on that site right now.
My favorite thing is that when she wants to sign Darth Vader, she signs brother and then does this intense, heavy breath through her trache.
The Padawan is now the Master.

This is so cute!
ION, I combined my business and personal cell phones this morning into one account. The cool thing is that I actually now have more service/features and I'm saving $75 per month. The bad things was that I had to give up the number I've had for the last 7 years. The dumb thing was that I then texted my new number to all my friends and forgot to sign the text with my name, because, duh, who ever does that. I have no idea why this makes me feel so stupid.
I'm going to have to take half a day vacation to get through my book proposal by deadline. I'm a wreck.
My sister is applying to be on the Jamaican board that rates movies (and decides which ones come to the island, pretty much). I think a voice like hers desperately needs to be heard. They're asking her for skills and interests. She put "swimming, travel and movies" for interests. I told her to change movies to foreign movies. I also told her to add singing and creative writing. And somehow she needs to factor in her continual civic action.
What else do they want to hear that's not a lie?
You can do it, Allyson!
I would like to take a half-day of vacation to play with the Giant Box Of Nailpolish currently sitting in my office, but no. I won't.
