I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That's what IGNORE means in Hipster language. Trufax.

I did not know this. It's funny because it makes much more sense now. I mean, I was never able to actually have a conversation about the social justice issues, as I'm sure the punk band in question intended. Because apparently one of the nuances of "NOT IGNORE" that "IGNORE" means, is that it's important to make insulting commentary and then talk over the attempted explanation. I still like the shirt, though.

Of course, the person I'm thinking about for that conversation also came up to me in a grocery store where he had been working for a week and bitched about not being able to ask off Saturdays during his probationary period, and then told me that I didn't know, because I don't work. Hey, you know what, buddy, if every single place you've ever worked has a miserable boss and miserable coworkers and you spend a half an hour talking to me when I walk in the door, and then wonder why they're not happy with you? It might not be them that's the problem.

Yeah, anyway, I guess the key to mashup shirts would be, is it clear that there is another half to be gotten?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

These are my mashup shirts. I think it's obvious something is up, but I guess that's a geek divide:

I might have more, but those are the three at the top of my mind.

I can't decide if I should take the next step with lowering my cellular bill. I am reflexively averse to a mobile contract. Am I $120/year averse to it? What if AT&T pulls it out in the last inning and does buy T-Mobile and I'm stuck for the duration? Also, I'd have to buy phones outright, but I currently *do* buy phones outright, so...I think the most important thing is, what puts my unlimited data and free hotspot functionality at the least risk? Because I have a sneaking suspicion I'm getting away with something on the latter, but I really don't want to bring it to anyone's notice.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Okay, def with #2. That would be obvious to someone on either side. Probably with #1, but I'm Mal-biased, so I can't really tell. The owls I suppose someone might just think were supposed to be cute? I love it, though.

I'm still pissed that I missed getting grandfathered into unlimited data, and I can't use the hotspot without paying. So yeah, you have something there, that you probably won't have indefinitely.

Because books.

My only geeky shirts are my SPN ones, shocker. I get a lot of questions on my Salt Rounds one, though.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I love the Doctor Hoo shirt, and it would make a perfect Christmas present for my brother. How did you go about getting it on a t-shirt? Does that site offer merchandise, or was it through another site?

Ah yes! You have reminded me that my Profound Bond shirt got me a befuddled question from my erstwhile sleep psych, but my opinion of her precedes everything, so never mind.

I probably have 10+ geeky shirts. I'm totally addicted, and now my sister has started feeding me.

The owls I suppose someone might just think were supposed to be cute?

I'm telling stories out of school, but John Rogers didn't get it right away. He did kick himself once he did, though.

So yeah, you have something there, that you probably won't have indefinitely.

So I should leave everything there and hope no one notices anything? I'm even kind of scared buying a new phone, which might happen.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

My favorite thing is that when she wants to sign Darth Vader, she signs brother and then does this intense, heavy breath through her trache.

Awww! Grace and Noah are so damn cute.

We have some of my MiL's antique dollhouses, I think one Georgian and one Victorian, and we need to figure out how to sell them for something approximating their worth.

Or you could just send them to me! t obviously joking

I love doll houses, I just don't have the room/time/money for one. Plus all of my dolls are different scales.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I don't have much in the way of geeky shirts, but CJ has a bunch and will get at least 6 more at Christmas. I LOVE finding new ones to give him.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh Jilli, do you know about antique dolls? I love the doll houses, I really do. But I don't know enough about them to know what's worth what. But I put a couple of them on display on the den because what's the point of having a doll house if you don't play with it?
