I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I've been relatively unnerdly lately. Next weekend is the Brooklyn Comics & Graphics Festival, though.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Actually, Jon B.'s "I went to Theremin camp" is still in the lead.

Truly it is the magnetic north of your nerd map.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I think I fail as a nerd this month. The nerdiest thing I'm doing right now is going over the copy-edited version of my ms for errors added during copy-editing. Close to zero on the nerd scale I fear.

Thrive to spite them

It's not really nerdy but I went to see if there was any info about the Shelburne Museum's next season exhibit "Time Machines: Robots, Rockets, and Steampunk".

So far nothing, but I can't wait (it opens in May).

Now tagless for your comfort.

My friend's five year old daughter got grounded from Minecraft and she wrote Notch a letter that her dad posted to Reddit.

OK, I just did something nerdy. I pitched Henry & Glenn Forever to my bartender.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Nerdiest thing I've done lately is spend nearly 2 days working on a drawing for Misha Collins's scavenger hunt.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Nerdiest?

I just added some more tasks to the new site: [link] I figured out how to create a pdf document of my most recent instapaper articles (and I read the pdf!), I watched 2 NOVA episodes on the origins of the universe.

I have to get some nerd points for those items.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

What's the nerdiest thing you've done lately?

Made that mini witch hat fascinator for the Yule Ball.

Because books.

Some gorgeous tattoos.

The shading on those is incredible.
