Oh, askye, I'm so sorry. That's heartbreaking and terrifying all at once. I'm glad Will will be with you soon. I'm glad Maddie had you to be with her.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

askye, I am so sorry. I know you did what you could, and I am glad that you could be there for her when it counted most.

Because books.

Oh, askye! I'm so sorry, sweetie. That's really hard. But you loved her, and she knew it.

My mom is on it, and overate at Thankgiving yesterday and ended up vomiting profusely. It was kind of scary. My family was saying it was the high blood sugar, but I don't think that causes vomiting.

Not in my experience, Sophia. I've been on Metformin for years. Overeating is just going to cause sluggishness and maybe uncomfortable fullness, like it would for anyone.

Sophia that's scary about your Mom. I hope that she's okay.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I know I am here and said I wouldn't be, but...

Amy- the high blood sugar doesn't cause vomiting either, right?

I am thinking maybe she lost so much weight that she just wasn't used to a large rich meal (she has lost about 70 pounds)plus she has acid reflux.

I also think my mother is now sorry her bathroom is carpeted (although I cleaned it for her).

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Oh, askye, I'm very sorry.

Sophia, I'd say it is more likely to be acid reflux over high blood sugar because, according to my limited understanding, high blood sugar issues appear over time. My dad has diabetes and his doc told him that high blood sugar takes extended time (multiple days) to appear.

Noah had nosebleeds yesterday which freaked him out. Kid needs less nosepicking, less noseblowing and more saline via nebulizer.

Yeah, one big meal is more likely to be acid reflux, Sophia. Dangerously high blood sugar takes a while to develop, and the metformin wouldn't have anything to do with it.

Also, really high blood sugar doesn't cause vomiting at all. It's going to cause dehydration -- thirst, dry mouth, lack of sweating even though you're really warm -- and fever, etc.
