Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I wrote out an action focused to do list because of you people and in 5 hours only 3 things marked off. I can still get 2-3 more of them done though. still, sad state of to-doing.

hip deep in pie

I am actually thinking about seeing this Muppet Movie. But I will see Hugo first.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just knocked a shitload of stuff off my to do list, some of it pretty unpleasant and having to do with large amounts of money.

Yet? More still remain. However, I feel a smidge more like an adult. Just a smidge. The things that are now boggling me are probably only boggling me because I'm tired and headachey, not because they're complex or beyond me. And because I need to take a breath.

At least, that's what I must believe.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I just made vegetarian gluten-free gravy for leftovers, and it tastes like gravy should. I feel like I made fire with 2 sticks. Seriously, I feel like a total badass.

I also just ate an entire turkey leg. HELL YEAH.

I have leftovers! Mmm. Thank you, Kat and K! Thanks, Polgara.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I love my sister but she fails in some things: for instance she doesn't want to go see The Muppets with me. Damn her.

OTOH she drove us both out to see our folks and coordinated a blitzkrieg of medication sorting and inventorying, including dumping a whole pile of expired OTC meds. And then we went out for drinks and I got a Carter Beats the Devil, which is basically a margarita with chili peppers. NOM.

And now I've had salad and smoked paprika fries and will not be eating leftover turkey and stuffing for dinner.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

My throat hurts a schootch, although probably not as much as Tim's, poor fella, so I'm almost through my second hot toddy. There's a lot of Jack in a hot toddy, at least the way I make 'em. Now I'm watching Viking Wilderness. I'm a sucker for anything with "Viking" in the title. Call something "Viking Grout Refinishing" and I am there!

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

I saw The Muppets this morning! And Labyrinth this afternoon.

Then I made a silver mini witch hat fascinator to go with my Yule Ball dress and shoes. I am going to be so, so sparkly.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My husband made me go shopping. It was terrible.

We went to the Art Museum but then Powell's. Powell's was not a good decision. So many people OMG.

Please share the badassery! I would love the recipe.

Can't remember in which thread I mentioned having bread-poisoning, but I crawled back onto the gluten-free wagon today and a good gravy recipe would be great.
