You're welcome! It's really tasty.

As are so many things pumpkin.

I have a recipe for pumpkin corn muffins, but I think Tim isn't feeling them. Damn it.

I...had a couple pieces of raisin bread, a bunch of clementines, a spicy chicken sandwich, and now chips and a cookie. But I'm finally making use of my free airline lounge passes to wait for my friends plane to get here.

I would like chili and cornbread or gougeres, but I'm sure we can find yummy dinner somewhere. Mm, maybe sushi...

Because books.

tomorrow's dressing

And I know what you mean by that! Anderson Cooper was baffled by Eric Stonestreet's reference to "dressing" today, which startled me. I think it's more a southern term (stuffing being more northern), but I've *heard* it before.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I found some sort of doughnutty long thing in the kitchen. So I made tea and ganked it. Because I skipped lunch.

I think dinner is going to be straight up vegetables.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I am sad that I will not have oyster dressing tomorrow.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Tom is making a pie for tomorrow and I think once the dust settles on that, I will make carbonara.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I took Owen to a specialist today to check out his eyes turning out. This was a second opinion after our regular ophthalmologist suggested strabismus surgery to correct the problem.

This guy obviously works with more kids and had a better chair-side manner. He kept asking Owen, funny, obvious questions (which, hellloooo, autism spectrum literal kid here). Owen finally got annoyed with the guy and said, "I think you need to go back to school."

HILARIOUS.

As it turns out, though, the guy is trying patching and exercises before we commit to surgery so I am a happy mama.
