Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I'm guessing you don't watch the Sy Fy channel much, or other shows filmed primarily in Canada.

No, I do. I don't know how to explain it, but even the unconventional ones have something that sets them apart. Many unconventional U.S. actors don't ping me the same way.

Busted. But I finally got this, which I've been wanting for a year.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I would like to build an immunity to MRSA.

Someone wipe a toilet seat with a lollipop and mail it to me. Then I'll share with the neighborhood children. I think this is an excellent idea.

Allyson! Thank you so much for that recommendation for Deva Curl--I love my haircut from last night sooooo much.

I tried to click on the pic but it wouldn't load for some reason. I'm so glad this worked out! I get nervous about my recs sometimes.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Why do I order more cross-stitch Christmas kits when I still have 10 more ornaments to make from the kits I already have?

Because you're channeling my Mom?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Mac gets gifts from everyone else on Christmas. It is just me who does the early no wrapping no surprise thing. It cuts through his anticipation driven anxiety.

That's really smart of you to have figured out.

I am home! And even went to the supermarket, which was 100% fine -- like a normal weekend day. Last year, I went to Whole Foods on this day, and I think later, and that store is clusterfucky at the best of times, thanks to a wonky setup, and I almost died. So now I feel good. Now to cut vegetables.

Because you're channeling my Mom?

Hee!

At least these kits aren't taking as long to finish as I had originally thought they might--I've gotten four done in 10 days, when I was originally thinking they might take 5-7 days each. Of course, I end up spending about 8 hours per night on them...

Tonight I'll be taking a break, though, because I must dye my hair and clean my apartment thoroughly. I'm putting up my tree on Friday morning, and want to have everything dusted and vacumned before I leave for Dad's in the morning.
