HOUSE!!!!

I continue to be grumpy, but mostly only I know it. Mac does not seem willing to spend Thanksgiving with my parents. He is desperate to "get stuff" but he doesn't even know what he wants. He was trying to hold me hostage for a PS2 the other day and now cannot even tell me what games he wants it for. I kinda want him in a safe, but in a heavily sedated state for the rest of the holiday season.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oy, msbelle, that sounds hard.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Oh, I'm sorry, msbelle.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Congrats, Perkins!

Msbelle, I can't even...

Nice, Kathy!

My mother has sunk to a new low of maternal manipulation. Now I really really have to listen to her when she says to eat leafy greens, she tells me. She has no shame. I'm trying to convince her that it's okay if she worries about my health, but right now I'm a distant DISTANT second to her own self, and I'm going to yell at her until she gets that.

Because books.

Aw, mac. Don't be hard on your mom.

It's good to see you, msbelle, grumpy or not.

I told you thank you, right Amy?

It's really just annoying. he's so self-centered right now and everyone else's wants are way way secondary. So when we really need to do something we give in to him, but the rest of the time while we are working on his skills, no one really gets what they want. I have made it crystal clear that I will have the T'day food I want and I WILL watch the parade and the Cowboy's game. much more than that I am not going to force.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What Amy said, msbelle. It's good to see your pixels..

Because books.

You did, msbelle. I'm sorry he's being so tough right now.

ita, eating leafy greens will make your mother *happy*. Don't you want her to be happy, and not worry? (When you become a mom, the guilting app is built right in.)

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

msbelle, it's good you can come here to let off a little steam.

Kathy, I love the hair. It took me 10 years to find a hairdresser in DC, and I'd pay double to keep going to him. It's something you don't think about until you see what a good one can actually do.

PERKINS! HOUSE! ALL ASSCAPS! CONGRATS!

ita, your mother antagonizing you is her way of forgetting about her health. Either way, I don't think you're going to win that discussion.

hip deep in pie

Oh mac. Maybe put him in a turkey stupor???

Hooooray Perkins!!
