I don't think 50 is particularly small, but I think if you're talking numbers bigger than that you really can't claim small.

I'd say "very small" or "intimate" would have to be less than 20 including bride, groom, and minister. Possibly smaller depending on how many siblings/children/etc you have.

Wonderful school crap to deal with today. Last night, Olivia informed me that two small boys were "trying to kiss her peewee" on the bus. She told me that she knows that's inappropriate and she tried to cover her lap. We don't use that word so I'm guessing she heard it from one of them. I talked to the principal who called the boys down to talk to them and he called their parents as well. Liv didn't seem upset by it and I didn't want to alarm her or make her feel bad. She told me that one of the boys had also kissed her on the lips.

I'm going to talk to the bus driver and the aide this afternoon at drop off.

I consider anything under a 100 to be a small wedding. If we could have had less than 100 people without pissing a bunch of people off, we may have considered having a formal wedding instead of eloping.

I would think 25-30 would be a small wedding.

I love that Liv actually said, "Mom, that's INAPPROPRIATE!" And that the secretary and principal were so quick to look into the matter. I'm going to ask that she not be seated near those kids for the rest of the year, if possible.

I think what you consider to be a small wedding really depends on your family and cultural expectations. Personally, I would agree with the 50 or fewer.

Cash, ugh what a thing to deal with! But it sounds like Liv is handling it well and that the school seems responsive.

She's five. She'll be six in February. I LOVE our school. Great teachers and the entire staff is dedicated and wonderful.

I think I freaked Owen's teacher out a little today because she asked me about my second grade teacher. I could name every elementary teacher I had and often their spouse, as well as my elementary librarian. I'm glad my kids are as blessed with their teachers as I was.

Ugh Cash. I guess the silver lining is that Liv knows that she can stand up for herself and her parents will make that shit stop.
