I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

Because books.

Especially kittens, I think. They're babies, after all.

I have seventeen things to do today, all outside the house, and it's raining and cold and filthy out. Blech.

So, I appear to have made an offer on a house.

Wheee! good luck!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes, askye. Good for you for taking care of the kittens, and no, she doesn't get them back!

Amy, that last submission was not Good Stuff! It was very sad. Sniff. For people who don't mind Sad Stuff: [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Congratulations, Perkins!

My mother is just wrapping up her first round of chemo. She's taking more drugs home with her in a fanny pack (step off, UK Buffistas) pump to infuse overnight. She's just done with the doctor's office portion of her first go-round. She seems in good spirits so far.

Because books.

Loyalty is good! And the villagers building a kennel for him is good!

But it is sad, I know.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Askye, do they have water (to the extent you can tell)? My understanding is that cats do not do well with dehydration.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hec and Scola, I thought I should inform you that Ryan North will be writing Adventure Time comics.

You have been informed.

Thrive to spite them

They have water, but only because the landlady's boyfriend put some in the dish.

I've talked to the neighbor, she was there yesterday afternoon, popped in gave them some food and water. However, I don't think she's been feeding them enough to begin with. I told her kittens generally need more than adult cats and she seemed surprised and said that they weer eating all the time.

Then I called my landlady back and she said the water dish had been knocked over and the water was spilled.

She'll be here soon. She's young and I don't think she's had a pet to take care of solely on her own so I just think she's busy between work and school and just not educated about kitten care.

I'm going to explain, no one thinks she's a bad cat owner and I was just worried because no one was sure when she was their last and how long they had gone without food.

And I'm going to offer to check in on them until she moves and offer to take the one.
