Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I like In n Out burgers more than most fast food burgers, but le n is right, their fries are terrible. But the last time I had BK their fries were terrible too. What gives, BK?

I just don't eat much traditional fast food anymore, except for road trips.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

What kind of crazy hijinks is Newt up to now?

Over the weekend, he said that schools should fire their janitors and hire students instead. Oh, and nine year olds should be working, too.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I haven't had traditional fast food (except for bogarting someone's fries) since I moved here, almost 6 months ago. I did have some on the way down. I have a weakness for Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich, but they changed their buns a year or two ago and I hate them now. The last few times I've had McD's, it made me literally nauseated.

Plus, when I can get a po-boy for a couple bucks more, it just isn't very tempting.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hey, does anyone know what music was playing over the opening sequence of The Good Wife last night? I didn't ask that already, did I? My memory is swiss cheese these days, especially when it comes to things I wrote.

Oh, that Newt. I think Mitt is going to back into the nomination by having the least amount of crazy and or impractical policy. I suppose there's that other guy, but nobody seems to be paying any attention to him, whatever his name is.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I do not understand the "just get a job" folks when THERE ARE NO JOBS.

My taxi driver last night was talking about how all the business and manufacturing has moved from Rochester (Bausch & Lomb, Kodak, Xerox, General Motors etc, etc) and how he was laid off, and then complaining because all the young people just didn't go out and get jobs, even minimum wage ones.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But the last time I had BK their fries were terrible too.

The BK fry coating has really grown on me.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

You know, Tom Colicchio on TC says "respect the protein" - which is a motto to live by, but I believe in "respect the starch."

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I too have been unimpressed by In & Out's fries, but then I try not to eat fast food that often. My brother the restaurateur says that very few restaurants cut their potatoes on site: it's apparently quite cost-ineffective to do that. So even many high-end restaurants have pre-cut fries.

I can't believe Newt is doing so well, especially with his adultery baggage.

ION, we're trying to ramp up personal support for our parents. When we broached the subject at dinner last night, we got an hour of yelling from my demented mother. t heavy sigh

Personal support as in someone coming in to help them during the day, Consuela?
